OKOTOKS (Aug. 6, 2026) — When the Professional Hockey Scouts Foundation holds its third annual Wall of Honour Induction Dinner, presented by BOSS Lubricants, in Okotoks on Aug. 28, a live auction will be a big part of the evening’s entertainment.
But you should know that a silent online auction also is to be part of the action, and it opens well before the night of the dinner.
In fact, the silent auction, under the auspices of Bill Brown and Elevate Auctions, will be ready for bids on Aug. 18.

On Aug. 28, the non-profit PHSF will induct 22 past and present-day scouts into the Wall of Honour, which is located in Okotoks’ Viking Rentals Centre, the home of the BCHL’s Oilers and the site of the dinner.
The theme for the evening is ‘Behind the Mask’, presented by Jacobson and Greiner, and a number of former NHL goaltenders will be in the spotlight, with John Davidson, Glen Hanlon, Kelly Hrudey, Brent Krahn, Jamie McLennan and Ed Staniowski to take part in a Hot Stove session.
